1.) Best Surfer in the world right now?Best surfer in the world right now has gotta be Gabriel Medina, the way he goes into heats knowing he’s already won the heat, the way he control's the heat, how good of a surfer he is. He’s just, all round the best surfer in the world right now. He’s an absolute UNIT!2.) Who you should keep an eye on?Fosho, Conner Slijpen! He’s been looking pretty deadly, he gets better everytime I surf with him he always pushes me and he’s definitly someone you wanna keep your eye on in the years to come.3.) Worst person to surf with?Definitely Conner Slijpen. He’s always on my inside and always on the best waves! Every time I see him he’s smashing a wave and then you turn around and he’s back on your inside! But he rips super hard so I really don’t mind4.) First kiss? Kiss and tell?Haven’t had one yet - so ladies, hit me up!5.) You’re stuck in a room with JJF, Gabby and a gunman - the gunman says you have to choose who lives between the two. Who do you choose & whyThe problem is, if I choose Gabriel then I'll have the whole of Brazil hunting me down which I don't really want and if I choose John John, then I'll have the whole of Hawaii hunting me down which I don't really want. Guess I'll just have to try find a compramise.

That would have to be Carl Steen. He’s always on those big Durban and South Coast Swells. And he’s never afraid to go, when the wave comes he’ll just put his head down and go

I think in the years to come you gonna check him getting some huuuge barrels!7.) Low paid free surfer surfing the world’s best waves or semi high paid CT surfer that always has to qualify through the QS?I must admit, I’m a bit of a contest guy. But i’d still choose low-paid free surfer surfing the best waves in the world. That’s the dream! Traveling. Getting barrels. Surfing firing waves. And having a good time.8.) Worst music you ever heard in an edit?I really dig this guy and he rips, but a couple years ago, Dan Emslie was putting some shockers in his edits. I’m sorry Dan but I’ll have to say you. Jordy Maree, Long Beach and DRake, not so good either. But Dan’s been dropping some sick edits these days!9.) What you been listening to?I’ve been listening to a bit of everything. A bit of rock and a bit of chilled techno, to level it out. But rock gets me super fired up before a surf.10.) Most overrated surfer in the world? I really believe in putting in the hard work even if you arent the best surfer. And all those guys at the top levels that might noit be as good as Gabriel, Filipe etc - They still deserve to be where they are just due to hard work. So wouldn’t be able to tax anyone for that!
